The elections in Ecuador

The process began with relative normality. Early in the morning, disadvantages were reported in the conformation of some meetings, problem that was overcome under the coordination of the representatives of the CNE (Consejo Nacional Electoral) in every enclosure. At 6:30, this April 26, began the official inauguration of the electoral process in most of the country. Authorities, candidates and delegates of parties were present at the inaugural act, in the different places destined for this event. In these elections it was possible to saw what in the last constituent assembly was resolved; young people from 16 to 18 years of age exercised the optional vote and also the members of the police and the army.
